- The 5 Best Online Stores for Skate Supplies - November 27, 2025
As someone who’s picked back up skating as an adult and has been at it close to a decade now, I might have creaky knees and hamstrings that have almost no give… but I also have disposable income, and that means I can purchase whatever skate supplies I want, whenever I need them. No more riding boards with no pop or wheels wearing down to the bearing.
But if you’re anything like me, when the time comes to break out the wallet and buy new supplies, you’ll often be at a loss as to which online skate store offers the best stuff.

1. Tactics

You can’t really go wrong with Tactics. This online skate store has a great variety of products and some nifty features to make putting together your haul as satisfying as ever.
What You Can Expect from Tactics
- Boards: Skateboards, longboards, cruisers, completes
- Parts: Trucks, wheels, risers, bearings, grip tape, hardware, wax, skate tools
- Clothing: Shoes, jackets, t-shirts, sweats, jeans, hoodies, hats, socks, shorts
- Accessories: Protective gear, watches, backpacks, belts, wallets, insoles, sunglasses, stickers
- Unique / Bonus Supplies: Snowboarding gear/clothes, road trip supplies
What I love most about Tactics is their apparel. If you just want a new set of threads to wear while you shred, Tactics boasts a slew of marquee brands and caters to whatever vibe you rock. For shoes, they have a bunch of great brands in a variety of styles, including chunky old-school shoes and sleek hi-tops. I’m a Tiago 1010 man myself, but you do what works for you.
And if you’re looking for a new setup, they have a brilliant “build a complete” feature that allows you to build the exact board you want, right down to the wheels.
Tactics also offers free shipping on orders of over $99, and each order comes with a 60-day money-back guarantee if you’re not satisfied. This is in addition to a promise of product authenticity and their price-match guarantee.
If things do go wrong and you need to deal with customer service, Tactics also has a live chat function to address any issues.
My verdict: With reasonable delivery costs, regular sales, and a very wide selection of offerings, Tactics is a top-tier option no matter what sort of skating gear you’re after.
2. Skate Warehouse

As someone who has been burned by shoddy completes before, I always suggest building your own with cheap parts. Skate Warehouse is a great place to put this first board together, thanks to their abundance of clearance items, trucks priced as low as $10, and genuine pro decks on-site for very reasonable cut prices. And for newbies, they have a handy learning center that will cover most of your starter needs.
What You Can Expect from Skate Warehouse
- Boards: Skateboards, longboards, cruisers, completes
- Parts: Trucks, wheels, risers, bearings, grip tape, hardware, skate tools
- Clothing: Shoes, jackets, t-shirts, sweats, jeans, hoodies, hats, socks, shorts
- Accessories: Protective gear, backpacks, belts, wallets, sunglasses, stickers, pins & patches
- Unique / Bonus Supplies: Headphones, earbuds, speakers, fingerboards
But the store’s not just great for beginners… They have a ton of top-grade apparel, mountains of great gear to upgrade your setup, and some handy accessories that you never knew you needed. They also let you shop by pro if you’re really into a particular skater’s gear, so if you want a fresh Jamie Foy deck, they have you covered. If you’re in need of a discount, they have daily flash deals as well.
As for their shipping and returns, they offer a decent amount of peace of mind for the customer, with a 60-day return window and free returns. However, note that not all products are included in this policy, and many products that are returned must have zero tampering. It’s a seemingly stricter policy than most online shops, so keep this in mind.
That said, they offer free shipping on all orders over $75, which is very reasonable, and their customer support is available via phone, email, and the website. My verdict: All in all, despite some more stringent rules on returns here, Skate Warehouse is a solid shop, and they have something for everyone.
3. CCS

If you want something exclusive that no one else at the park has (and to look amazing in your next bit of footage), check out CCS and their fresh-off-the-presses apparel and gear.
What You Can Expect from CCS
- Boards: Skateboards, longboards, cruisers, completes
- Parts: Trucks, wheels, risers, bearings, grip tape, hardware, wax, skate tools
- Clothing: Shoes, jackets, t-shirts, sweats, jeans, hoodies, hats, socks, shorts
- Accessories: Protective gear, backpacks, belts, wallets, sunglasses, stickers, pins & patches, watches
- Unique / Bonus Supplies: Ramps, rails, custom boards & apparel, headphones, books, luggage
You’ll also see a lot of exclusive limited-edition gear and brand collaborations at CCS. It’s not filler stuff either… it’s all killer and worth checking out.
CCS has a 60-day returns policy, including free returns on shoes, clothing, and accessories. However, much like Skate Warehouse, the rules on returns read like legal fine print, with returned decks being subject to a restocking fee, sale items being excluded from returns, ramp/rail returns being handled by a third-party… the list goes on. So, your mileage may vary on returns with CCS.
Also, note that their returns system is automated, with no actual human contact available unless you jump through some serious hoops. Definitely a downside for me.
My verdict: While customer service may be a bit of a weak spot, CCS is still a store worth shopping at. It’s basically the online skate store for those who want the newest, flashiest gear. And if you’re willing to spring for the CCS+ membership, you’ll also gain access to raffled big-ticket items, exclusive sales and events, and free shipping on everything.
4. The Dark Slide

Skating is an art form, and you should be able to find stores that allow you to treat it as such.
The Dark Slide is one such store, selling some of the coolest art decks around — from old school Bones Brigade classics to more modern decks that you can hang proudly around your home.
What You Can Expect from The Dark Slide
- Boards: Skateboards, cruisers, hybrids, longboards, completes
- Parts: Trucks, wheels, risers, bearings, grip tape, hardware, wax, skate tools
- Clothing: Shoes, jackets, t-shirts, hoodies, hats
- Accessories: Protective gear, stickers, pins & patches
- Unique / Bonus Supplies: Vinyl, DVDs, CDs, magazines, books, art decks, toys, posters, postcards
I love this store because it’s the home of all things retro, as well as a great place to shop if you want to dive into old-school skating culture with a wealth of books, classic mags, vinyls, and other media. Beyond that, they boast a wide array of trending skate brands — everything you need to get out there and kill any spot. And it gets all that gear to your door with zero fuss (no expedited delivery options, though).
As for returns, the Dark Slide site only offers a 30-day return policy and might come with a restocking fee. There may be additional costs at the discretion of the supplier if your return is not in the condition promised. You’ll also need to handle returns via email, with no option to call their support.
My verdict: All in all, The Dark Side is a bit of an odd duck in terms of online skate stores. It doesn’t offer a lot of contemporary items, and their customer service isn’t the best, but it’s still hands-down the best store for retro gear. I can’t promise you that you’ll ever be able to do the trick that serves as their namesake, but beyond that, The Dark Slide is an excellent choice.
5. Black Sheep Skate Store

If you’re someone who just wants a no-fuss, no-thrills shopping experience where you have access to the best gear around, Black Sheep is the way to go.
What You Can Expect from Black Sheep
- Boards: Skateboards, shaped boards, completes
- Parts: Trucks, wheels, risers, bearings, grip tape, hardware, wax, skate tools
- Clothing: Shoes, jackets, t-shirts, sweatshirts, pants, hoodies, hats, socks, shorts
- Accessories: Protective gear, watches, backpacks, belts, wallets, sunglasses
- Unique / Bonus Supplies: N/A
Having been around for over two decades, Black Sheep is a trusted retailer in the skating world, stocking great gear and delivering it to your door with no stress. With a solid selection of killer brands, some unique and stylish own-brand apparel, and a simple interface to work with as you peruse their stock, it’s everything that a low-maintenance shopper could want.
When it comes to shipping, Black Sheep offers free shipping on orders over $90, with some exclusions for decks and special releases. Plus, they promise swift deliveries to anyone in the U.S. — with the additional option of picking up in store if you’re near Charlotte, North Carolina.
Black Sheep also offers a 30-day return policy, with minor exclusions for sale items and discounted Skate Hardgood items. That said, you can only contact their customer service via email, which can be a pain if you want a quick, painless refund.
My verdict: It might not sound all that exciting, but the selling point here is the simplicity, its clean interface, and a solid reputation. It’s a get-what-you-need-and-go sort of site, with not a lot of the latest and greatest, but if that’s your vibe, the Black Sheep will work just fine.
